Updates at North East Dance

We are delighted to be soon delivering our programme Dare to Be in the Newcastle area to children aged 5-12 years old thanks to the Operation Payback fund. During the delivery of Dare to Be a creative choreography will be taught alongside working with course materials to expand the children’s understanding of difficult subjects like bullying, mental health or cultural awareness and building their resilience.

North East Dance CIC are providing FREE Dance sessions over the Easter Holidays in various venues on the 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd April. To book your child’s place please email clare@northeastdance.com

We have been recently receiving an overwhelming amount of great feedback about our instructors. We’d love to share some of it with you! North East Dance are providing FREE dance sessions in four community centres in Newcastle as part of Newcastle’s Best Summer Ever! All children will also receive a FREE healthy lunch. North East Dance is working in partnership with Legs Creative Arts CIC to deliver FREE Salsa sessions at Temple Park Centre, South Shields through funding from ‘This Girl Can.’ Classes will commence on a Monday 7th June at 1.30pm and a Wednesday 9th June at 1pm and will be FREE to all participants To book onto one of the classes please contact Temple Park on 0191 456 9119.

We provide FREE Adult Learning Courses to people 19 plus living in County Durham. Our courses are: Let’s All Boogie – For Adults with their toddlers Step Forward – A dance or fitness class for adults only Our courses are funded by Durham County Council and can be delivered face to face in community venues.
